The Story of Joujoux

We love our golden retriever, Ritchie, and we love how playful he is. What we don't love, is how quickly he will destroy a toy. So we started buying toys ('joujoux' in french) marketed as "indestructible". And sure enough, some of them are! But you know what they're not? Fun... He doesn't play with them. So we figured Ritchie deserves to have fun and we deserve to not have a mess and waste endless amounts of our hard earned money. So we decided to manufacture our own. Dogs can play rough - so while we cannot promise they'll last forever, we can assure you that we tested on as many super chewers as we could. What we were testing for was the following:

• Dogs actually wanted to play with these toys
• The toys were kept in good shape for at least 6 months

We found the best way to keep high energy dogs entertained for long periods of time time is...food. No surprise there, right? The Frosty is designed to be filled with and then frozen to maximise how long your dog will be entertained. 

We like to fill the Frosty with healthy treats like Kefir, greek yogurt, or natural bone broth. You can definitely mix in some dry treats or even kibble as well. If your dog suffers from allergies, local honey is said to help, so why not throw that in too? Once it's fozen solid, you can expect your dog to be entertained for up about 45 minutes!
